Background

TREC Construction is a family owned and operated business in Nicholasville, KY. TREC started as Robby doing handyman jobs, small remodeling projects, and decks while at UK pursuing a civil engineering degree. After Robby’s graduation, Teresa left her job to manage the bookkeeping and administrative duties at TREC and they began to expand the business. Nearly 20 years later, TREC is a thriving, well-respected Design & Build company.

Our Process

Initial Meeting

We encourage clients to gather design ideas and important points as well as
determine a budget to share at this first meeting.

Estimate

The estimate considers information gathered from the initial meeting with
allowances for undetermined items. A client commitment and detailed design are
necessary for a more precise proposal.

Design Agreement

With a design agreement reached, we move forward with a design consisting of
plans and specifications.

Proposal & Contracts

A definitive proposal is provided with a design, a fixed price, and a start date.
