Estimate was prepared, all materials were ordered prior to the job being started. Job was started and was completed in approximately 3 weeks. Would have been a 2 week job, but we had a porcelain tub refinished and it had to cure for 48 hours, so no work could be done during those 48 hours. The only other thing that caused a slight delay was the paint store (Sherwin Williams) talked the contractor into using a new type of paint (don't know what type) and it bubbled and did not cover well, so the walls had to be primed in several places and basically the entire bathroom had to be re-painted. This is why we always buy Behr paint when we are painting our house. This contractor also built our deck about 8 years ago. One of the top rails had curled and split and he replaced this at no charge while doing the bathroom job. We will use this contractor for any future remodel jobs.
The entire experience was great. We are working with them now to start another project.
