Old deck torn down and removed; new deck and pergola built. We contacted TREC in late spring about building a new deck. Robby, the owner, sent an employee to do initial assessment and talk with us about our wishes. Robby had already informed us that it would be early August before he could get with us. We were okay with this timeline. Approximately two weeks after initial home visit and several email exchanges Robby had a design for us that worked with our wishes and budget. We wanted timber tech deck flooring, stair treads, and cap rail since our deck takes a beating from the sun. We were also hoping for more artificial components of the deck and pergola. Robby said a wood pergola could be incorporated into the deck; and artificial pergola would look odd in relation to deck. We went with his suggestion--and glad we did. Robby was finally able to schedule the work in early September. He came to the house about a week before the work to go over everything. Work was completed in about a week--had to work around the weather. His crew was very professional and polite. After very day they cleaned up and stored equipment out of our way. Robby took care of all permit issues and contacted 811 regarding underground lines. We love our deck. It is very well built. Pergola looks fantastic. Robby even designed pergola in light of how the sun crosses the sky at our house. He also went over with us how to maintain the deck. We look forward to enjoying our deck. Robby was fantastic. One of the best contractors we have worked with. Highly recommend TREC!
Removed the old deck, dug new holes for the new post and installed a new deck and skirting. The crew of 3 were always on time or early, worked in cold and rainy weather. Completed the job on time, clean up was great.
Built a ground-level deck beneath an existing upper story deck and replaced the stairs so the two connect. It was a wonderful experience. The workers were courteous and well-mannered. The craftsmanship is superb. The deck is very solid and we are happy to say goodbye to the old, steep stairs. The new stairs are wider and sturdier. The job was completed quickly.
Rebuilt a large portion of my second story deck that had major structural issues. Great people, very friendly, very professional, did the work on time and met the quote I was given. The finished product is outstanding, I am very pleased. I'll definitely be using them again for some more work I have planned in the near future.
The bathroom was remodeled including moving the plumbing, new fixtures installed and tile work. The service was amazing from the first contact with Robby to the completion of the job. Robby was so quick to respond and I can't say enough about what a nice person he is. His professionalism and work ethic shows in his employees. They were so prompt, courteous throughout the entire process and made sure the entire mess was cleaned up before leaving for the day. I work in a separate part of the house but felt totally secure in leaving them to work on their own. They put down plastic before they began work and protected all of the furnishings.
They erected a new staircase to the back my garage to enable us to access a flat above the garage.
